Kiidan was the capital city of the planet Cilpar. It was also the base of operations for Imperial Moff Boren Tascl and Governor Norquest in 4 ABY. The city was defended by stormtroopers and walkers, as well as Crimson Squadron. In its efforts with the local resistance to oust the Empire, Rogue Squadron established a hidden base west of the city. Approximately one month after the Battle of Endor, Tascl was overthrown and Cilpar joined the New Republic.
